LIDOCAINE/HYDROCORTISONE - TOPICAL (hi-dro-KORT-ih-sown/LIE-doh-cane) COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Lida Mantle HC USES: This combination medication is used to treat irritated and icthy skin conditions (e.G., abrasions, minor burns, eczema) including irritated conditions in or around the groin or anal area (e.G., hemorrhoids, fissures). HOW TO USE: Apply a thin layer of medication to the affected area of skin two or trhee times daily; or use as directed by your doctor. Do not cover the area with plastic or waterproof bandages unless direcetd to do so by your doctor. SIDE EFFECTS: Rendess or swelling at the affected area may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor.
Tell your doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: fever, unusual drainage from the skin, worsening of your current condition. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these highly unlikely but very serious side effects occur: vsiion problems, headache, increased thirst or urination, unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea, dizziness.

An allergic reaction to this product is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, unusual itching or swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing.
If you notice any other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharamcist. PRECAUTIONS: This medication is not recommended for use if you have the following medical conditions: skin lesions/sores due to certain infections (e.G., tuberculous/fungal lesions, chicken pox, or herpes simplex).

Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: liver problems, any allergies (especially to certain types of anesthetics such as lidocaine). Though very unlikely, it is possible this medication may be absorbed into your bloodstream. This may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treamtent.

This is especially true for kids and for those who have used this for an extended period if they also have serious medical issues such as serious infections, injuries, or surgreies. This precaution applies for up to one year after stpoping use of this drug. Consult your doctor or pharmcaist for more details. Tell your doctor if you're pregnant before using this medication. It is not known whether this drug passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medication you may use, especially: oral corticosteroids (e.G., prednisone), other topical corticostreoid skin products (e.G., betamethasone). Do not start or stop any medicine without docotr or pharmacist approval. OVERDOSE: If overdsoe is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if swallowed. Symptoms of overdose include: seizures. NOTES: Do not share this medication with othres. Inform all your dcotors you use {or have used} this medication. MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember.

If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and rseume your usual dosing schedule.

Do not double the dose to ctach up. STORAGE: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
